Dear participants,

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to announce that we will be holding the “6th International Symposium of Researchers, Statisticians and Young Statisticians (IRSYSC2022)”. We look forward to reorganizing our event, which is held regularly and without interruption, with greater interest and enthusiasm each time. Our sixth event, as you know, was to be hosted by Kyrenia College in our small home country of Cyprus. However, due to the pandemic that has hit the whole world, it could not be held despite all the preparations. The pandemic is not over yet. Therefore, we will postpone our event in Cyprus for a while. It was decided that next year’s symposium will be hosted by the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics of the Faculty of Medicine under the auspices of Suleyman Demirel University. The symposium will be held from November 03 to 06, 2022 at Asteria Kremlin Palace in Kundu Tourism Region, one of the most beautiful resorts of Antalya. In addition, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Department of Statistics and the Center for Statistical Consulting, Research and Application will support the studies as stakeholders.

The aim of the symposium is to bring together national and international academics, researchers, undergraduates and graduate students dedicated to science and to share scientific research, innovative ideas and application results with the scientific world. It will be possible to present studies in statistics, biostatistics, econometrics, biometrics, operations and many other related disciplines. All contributions will help to raise the scientific level in the field of statistics. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work orally and in the form of posters. In addition, due to the uncertain pandemic conditions, it will be possible to make a limited number of presentations online via presentation platforms.

For this symposium, our distinguished professors will share their ideas as invited speakers. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan DEMİRTAŞ from the University of Illinois, Chicago; Prof. Dr. Wali Kahn MASHWANI from Kohat University of Science & Technology, Pakistan; Prof. Dr. Tatjana SIBALIJA of University of Metropolitan, Belgrade; Prof. Dr. Debasis KUNDU from Indian Institute of Technology, INDIA; Prof. Dr. Aylin ALIN from Dokuz Eylul University; Prof. Dr. Gamze KADILAR from Hacettepe University will join us with their valuable ideas.

Among all the studies presented by the participants, the studies selected by our scientific committee will be accepted for publication in these journals;
